VMA 2017 exclui divisão de gêneros e cria categoria
A MTV dos EUA divulgou nesta terça-feira (25) a lista de indicados para o Video Music Awards 2017. O rapper Kendrick Lamar é o campeão de indicações, com oito menções.
Neste ano, a emissora excluiu as categorias com divisão de gênero, e não terá mais premiados a "melhor cantor" e "melhor cantora" - apenas "melhor artista".
Outra mudança foi a inclusão da categoria "melhor luta contra o sistema", com indicados como "Immigrants", uma ode aos imigrantes dos EUA, da trilha do musical "Hamilton".
Uma das surpresas da lista é a cantora canadense Alessia Cara, com quatro indicações, incluindo vídeo do ano e "luta contra o sistema" por "Scars to your beautiful"
